Christian Elser | Executive Director
Christian co-founded GLOW Lyric Theatre in 2009, and has served as its Executive Director and resident Music Director/Conductor ever since. He is also Associate Professor of Music at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, where he is Voice Division Director and Director of the PC Opera/Musical Theatre. As an operatic baritone Christian has performed nationally with such organizations as the Chicago Opera Theatre, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Lyric Opera Cleveland, and Light Opera Oklahoma, and can be heard on several commercial opera/song recordings and broadcasts. Jenna Tamisiea | Artistic Director
Co-founder and artistic director of GLOW Lyric Theatre, Jenna Tamisiea is a versatile actress and stage director in both straight and musical theatre. She has performed and directed with companies across the South and Southeast, including The Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Light Opera Oklahoma, Centre Stage South Carolina, The Arkansas Art Center Children’s Theatre, North Carolina Shakespeare, and Atlanta’s Synchronicity Performance Group, Aurora Theatre, Legacy Theatre, 14th Street Playhouse and Seven Stages Theatre. Ashley King | Education Director
Ashley King coordinates all of Glow’s educational activities, events and camps. In addition to serving as Education Director, Ashley has performed with Glow in numerous productions since 2008. As a soprano she has also performed with the South Carolina Children’s Theatre, Greenville Chorale, Fountain Inn Chorale, and Spartanburg Repertory Company. Ashley is also the Director of Fine Arts at Shannon Forest Christian School. BM (Voice) University of Georgia, MM (Music Ed) Converse College.
Jeff Levene | Artistic Associate
A Furman Graduate and long term local to the Upstate, Jeff has worked with a variety of theatres and production companies in both North and South Carolina, including Centre Stage Theatre SC and Creative Network Studios of Charlotte NC. His involvement in these ventures has ranged from acting on stage to helping produce, market, and stage manage anything form shows and concerts, to cabarets and online web series. Also an avid writer, Jeff reviews shows for Carolina Curtain Call, and occasionally collaborates on scripts for both screen and stage. In his free time he also enjoys creating and recording music with his brother.
